Rumors suggest that the Asus Zenfone 11 Ultra might soon make its debut, with recent leaks shedding light on its potential specifications. The base model of the Asus Zenfone 11 was recently spotted on the Google Play Console, indicating an imminent release. As the name implies, the Zenfone 11 Ultra is expected to offer enhancements over the standard variant, possibly in terms of size and features, building on the legacy of the Asus Zenfone 10.
According to a Reddit user named Td3v11, who claims to have discovered details about the Asus Zenfone 11 Ultra within the latest ROG 8 firmware update, the device showcases a design reminiscent of the ROG Phone 8 Pro. The leaked image reveals a glossy ridged back panel and a sizable rear camera module, albeit rectangular in shape and featuring more pronounced ridges. Unlike the ROG branding, the Zenfone 11 Ultra lacks any engraved logo on its back.
The leaked specifications sheet suggests that the Asus Zenfone 11 Ultra will boast a 6.78-inch full-HD Samsung flexible AMOLED LTPO panel with a refresh rate of up to 120Hz, reaching up to 144Hz in Game Genie mode. Powering the device is expected to be the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC, paired with up to 16GB of LPDDR5x RAM and up to 512GB of UFS 4.0 onboard storage.
In the camera department, the Zenfone 11 Ultra is anticipated to feature a triple rear camera system, headlined by a 50-megapixel IMX890 primary sensor with wide-angle lens and gimbal optical image stabilization (OIS). Additionally, it may include a 13-megapixel sensor with a 120-degree ultra-wide lens and a 32-megapixel telephoto camera supporting up to 3x optical zoom. On the front, a 32-megapixel RGBW sensor is expected for selfies.
The device is speculated to be powered by a robust 5,500mAh battery with support for fast charging, offering 65W wired charging and 15W wireless charging capabilities. It is also rumored to retain the 3.5mm audio jack and feature Dirac-backed dual stereo speakers for immersive audio experiences. The Asus Zenfone 11 Ultra is purported to be available in five color options: Desert Sienna, Eternal Black, Misty Gray, Skyline Blue, and Verdure Green.
