Fujifilm Launches Instax Pal Digital Camera!!

Fujifilm’s Instax Pal digital camera made its debut in the Indian market on Wednesday, February 7. Following its successful launch in the US last year, this pocket-sized instant film camera is now available for Indian consumers. Geared towards children and teenagers, the Instax Pal boasts a sleek, rounded design and comes in charming pastel colors, making it an attractive option for young photography enthusiasts. The camera is offered in five different color variants to suit individual preferences.

Price and Availability

The Fujifilm Instax Pal digital camera is priced at Rs. 10,999 in India and is available in Gem Black, Lavender Blue, Milky White, Pistachio Green, and Powder Pink color options. Interested buyers can purchase the palm-sized camera directly from Fujifilm’s website. Additionally, accessories such as a detachable ring strap, serving as a viewfinder and camera stand, and a Link Mode switch for convenient photo printing with Instax’s Link series printers, are available for separate purchase.

Unique Features

Setting itself apart from traditional instant film cameras, the Fujifilm Instax Pal does not feature a built-in viewfinder or photo printer, focusing solely on providing a compact camera experience. The device boasts a 1/5-inch CMOS sensor with a primary color filter, along with essential features including a flash, a small speaker for shutter sounds, a microSD card slot, a power button, a photo mode button, and a USB-C Type charging port. With an aperture of f/2.2 and a shooting sensitivity ranging from ISO100 to ISO1600, the camera offers versatility in various lighting conditions. Moreover, the shutter speed automatically adjusts between 1/4 second to 1/8000 second.

Operational Modes

The Instax Pal digital camera offers two distinct modes for capturing moments. In Standard Mode, activated by pressing the shutter button on the rear panel, users can independently take photos using the wide-angle lens. This mode allows storage of up to 50 photos without a microSD card. Alternatively, Remote Mode enables seamless connection with a smartphone via Bluetooth, allowing users to remotely capture pictures using the Instax Pal app, with images being directly transmitted to the phone.

Companion App Features

The Instax Pal companion app enhances the user experience with its array of features. Users can customize shutter sounds, apply filters, add text, stickers, and more to their photos, unleashing their creativity. The device requires approximately 2-3 hours to fully charge, ensuring extended usage without interruption.

With its blend of innovative features and user-friendly design, the Fujifilm Instax Pal digital camera offers a delightful photography experience tailored to the preferences of young users in India.
