Rumored iPhone 16 Pro and Pro Max Could Feature Graphene for Heat Dissipation

Recent reports suggest that the forthcoming iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max could address overheating concerns that plagued their predecessors by incorporating a graphene sheet for enhanced heat dissipation. Apple’s potential successors to the iPhone 15 Pro models may adopt this innovative material to mitigate thermal issues commonly associated with smartphone processors.

According to insights from a PhoneArena report, Apple is exploring the integration of graphene instead of conventional graphite pads in the iPhone 16 Pro series to facilitate more efficient heat dissipation from the device’s processor. By utilizing graphene, the heat generated by the chip would be effectively dispersed, thereby reducing the overall temperature of the handset.

This speculation isn’t entirely new, as earlier reports from November hinted at Apple’s intention to implement a graphene thermal system in the successors to the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max.
