Vivo Launches V30 Smartphone with Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 SoC and 120Hz AMOLED Display

Vivo has quietly introduced its latest addition to the V-series lineup, the Vivo V30, in select global markets. Boasting Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 SoC, coupled with up to 12GB of RAM, this smartphone offers robust performance. Sporting a 3D curved AMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate, the Vivo V30 showcases a triple rear camera system, headlined by a 50-megapixel primary sensor. Interestingly, the device bears a resemblance to the Vivo S18. Powering the handset is a sizable 5,000mAh battery. The Vivo V30 is set to make its debut in over 30 markets, including India, in the near future.

While pricing details for the Vivo V30 remain undisclosed, Vivo has confirmed (via GSMArena) its imminent launch in various regions, such as India, Indonesia, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, and the UAE. The Vivo V30 series is slated to hit the Mexican market on February 8.

Available in captivating shades like Bloom White, Lush Green, Noble Black, and Waving Aqua, the Vivo V30 runs on Android 14 with FuntouchOS 14. Its expansive 6.78-inch full-HD AMOLED display boasts a 20:9 aspect ratio and HDR10+ support, ensuring vibrant visuals. The 3D curved screen offers a remarkable 120Hz refresh rate and claims to deliver 100 percent coverage of the DCI-P3 color gamut, along with up to 2800 nits peak brightness.

Under the hood, the device houses a cutting-edge 4nm Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 SoC, accompanied by an Adreno 720 GPU. Users can choose from multiple RAM and storage configurations, including 8GB+128GB, 8GB+256GB, 12GB+256GB, and 12GB+512GB.

On the photography front, the Vivo V30 impresses with its triple aura light rear camera setup, featuring a 50-megapixel OmniVision OV50E sensor with OIS, a 50-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera, and a dedicated portrait sensor. For selfie enthusiasts, there’s a high-resolution 50-megapixel front camera with autofocus.

Keeping the device powered throughout the day is a robust 5,000mAh battery with support for 80W fast charging, ensuring quick refueling. Despite its feature-packed design, the Vivo V30 maintains a sleek profile, measuring just 7.5mm in thickness.
